Cam Sinclair has landed two double backflips from two events in Melbourne on Friday and Saturday nights, and will appear on Channel 7's Today Tonight current affair program on either Thursday or Friday from 6.30pm.
The Crusty Demons “Beyond the Apocolypse” Tour kicked off at Rod Laver Arena on Friday and Saturday nights, with Sinclair’s double backflip a major drawcard to the event. It was the first time Sinclair had performed the stunt on home soil; landing it so perfectly in front of all his family and friends was just reward for months of hard work and dedication.
“It feels so good to land two double flips in a row this weekend, especially infront of all my family and friends.” Cam Sinclair said. “I was a little bit nervous on Friday night, but more than anything I just wanted to get out there and get the job done!”
Having landed a grand total of 12 double backflips to date, Sinclair is beginning to make what is arguably one of the most dangerous sporting manouvers seem like a walk in the park.
“I’m really confident in my riding at the moment, my Yamaha YZ250 is running perfectly and things couldn’t be better. I have big plans for the rest of the year!” Sinclair added.
The Crusty Tour heads to Brisbane this weekend (May 22-23) where Sinclair again will be going for double backflips on successive nights.
