Matt Rebeaud has had a tough 8-months, which started with what looked like a horrific accident at the final London X-Fighters round last year. Riding towards the ramp in his run with a flat tyre Mat didn't gained enough speed to make the landing and slammed into the back side of the dirt down ramp. Mat was lucky to walk away with only a big hole under his lip and a big headache. Looking at the footage of his crash it could have been a lot worse! Then preparing for the 2010 season at he Red Bull compound in California Mat crashed again while trying an Underflip One Handed and was rushed to hospital with a compressed lung and fractured right arm, not the start the former X-Fighters champion would have hoped for. Now Mat is gearing up for round two of Red Bull X-Fighters in Eygpt, and he is still in with a fighting chance to win the series as each rider gets to drop their worst round.
Red Bull recently put together this clip of Mat talking about his accidents and return to the X-Fighters series. Check it out 'here'
