Australian freestyle, stunt, moto superstar Robbie Maddison took a leap of a different kind on the weekend when he married his long time partner Amy Sanders (now Maddison). By all accounts it was a rocking occasion in true Maddo style with a gathering of close friends including many moto industry celebs. On behalf of Freerider MX and all its readers we want to wish the couple all the best for a happy and exciting future together, and no Backflips on this deal Maddo!

Our man Justin "Bushwakt" Bush was on hand at the wedding as MC and he sent us in a few photos and words on Maddo's and Amys special occasion.

Bushwakt report: On Sunday the 6th of March 2010, World Distance Jumping Maniac and all round FMX Kool Kat Robbie Maddison sealed the deal in marriage to long time girlfriend Amy Sanders. With rain forecast all week it wasn't looking good for their magical day, but as the clouds cleared, out came the sun and so too did the freaks to celebrate one of the best weddings on record.

Set on the edge of Kiama Harbour with the reception marquee only meters away this place was ready for the on-slaught of some of the worst dancer's and drinkers alike (actually they couldn't have been that bad they drank the place dry). With a mixed crowd of pro's of this and that nature we had some high caliber crew all ready to rip the dance floor a new one. And with the bar copping a hiding all night it wasn't long for the dance floor to light up as did the fireworks over the harbor just to set the scene, of one very special evening for Robbie and Amy. And as it was time to all go our separate ways, I looked back over my shoulder to see nothing but a smoldering crater ... that was one cracker of a Wedding.

Congratulations to Robbie and Amy Maddison you guys bloody rip!
