Crusty Cancels 3 Shows

This is a big blow for the Crusty Demon brand as they really needed to make a success of the forthcoming regional tour, especially after months of court cases and speculation over who is actually in control of the live show Down Under.

Paul Dainty, Chairman and CEO of Dainty Consolidated Entertainment, partners of Crusty Demons World Touring, put out a statement earlier today explaining, “The restructure of the first part of the Beyond The Apocalypse Tour and other circumstances beyond our control unfortunately means it is not possible to do all the shows originally planned."

"Despite our best efforts to keep the Albury, Orange & Coffs Harbour shows as part of the tour, we were left with too little lead time to effectively market the events to the people of the region,” Mr Dainty continued. “We fully intend to get back there with a huge Crusty Demons show in the
very near future.”

The cancellation of the three Crusty regional tour stops is also a big blow to the riders as many of them have been stuck in the middle of the recent turmoil and they were just keen to get on with the show. "We really wanted to see both shows (Crusty and Nitro Circus) work side by side in Australia", said Steve Mini when we spoke to him about the cancellation of the Crusty stops. "We've had many great years riding the Crusty shows and I'd like to see it continue, for the fans and us riders."

Only time will tell if the recent saga over Crusty rights in Australia has had a negative impact on fans. For over a decade Crusty shows have sold out all over the country, but now with serious competition from Travis Pastrana and his Nitro Circus freaks, Crusty will have to pull something special out of the bag to ensure fans return to what has been until now the most popular live freestyle shows in Australia.
