Matty Mac on his way to winning the Camel Cup at the Canberra show. Apparently he's signed a contract in the
Sahara, might be just a rumour though?
Freestyle riders often find themselves in all sorts of strange situations, mostly because they're superstars and people want them involved in the side-action that goes along with events. Stunt planes, helicopter's, jet boats, bungee jumping, shooting, they get to do it all, but we've never heard of them racing Camels ... What the?
Between demos at the Royal Canberra show, the Showtime FMX boys were invited to compete in the annual Camel race.
Both Matty McFerran and Brad Burch had never ridden or been near a Camel in their lives, but thought why not when asked to compete. The boys then lined up on the start line with all their motorcross gear on as they just moments before finished performing and they totally expected to be smoked in the race. But surprisingly Matty Mac's Camel pulled a huge hole shot straight out of the gate and held on to take the win with team mate Burchy coming in second. The funny thing is Matty still had his helmet camera on and running and we have it here for you guys to check out.

What you reckon Gazza, can't be that hard can it?
