Marketing Manager


The world's fastest growing motocross brand, Unit Clothing, is looking to appoint a National Marketing Manager to join it's expanding team of executives.
The successful applicant will be a creative powerhouse with a genuine hunger to expand Unit's global presence and maintain its 300 per cent per annum growth rate.

This person will have extensive knowledge and experience in the action sports industry, particularly motocross and BMX.
Working with a team of highly skilled support staff, Unit's Marketing Manager will have excellent communication skills and the ability to organise promotions and events worldwide.

Reporting to the General Manager, this person will be responsible for all aspects of the marketing mix, including strategy and execution, media, communications, market research, and brand/product management.

The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the following:

·           Development annual marketing strategies to drive sales;
·           Planning, implementing and monitoring  marketing campaigns;
·           Analysis of product, market, sales, usage and trends to identify market trends, opportunities and threats.
·           Development of product launches and geographic expansion to include developing new launch programs and management of execution within affiliate and distributor markets.
·           Financial management of the marketing program including budget planning, resource allocation and preparation of quarterly reports.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and attributes:

·           Strong management and communication skills, attention to detail and high level analytical skills
·           Tertiary qualifications
·           5+ years of marketing management experience or international marketing experience
·           Ability to travel

Athlete Manager

World's fastest growing motocross brand, Unit Clothing is looking to appoint an Athlete Manager to manage its growing team of sponsored athletes.

The successful applicant will have a solid background working in and around the motocross industry.  Experience in the BMX industry is an advantage.

The successful applicant will be a people person capable of managing a team of more than 30 athletes across the world.

This person will be very capable in online social networking and have excellent communication skills.

Unit's Athlete Manager will have the following responsibilities:

·        Development of athlete strategy and goal setting;
·        Development of individual marketing, communication and performance  plans;  
·        Management of athlete negotiations and agreements/contracts  
·        Budgeting;
·        Performance management;
·        Talent identification, scouting and proposing athletes;
·        Monitoring and managing performance, personality and style for each athlete;
·        Development of athlete KPIs.

To successfully fulfill this position, the following skills and attributes are required:

·        Minimum 5 years Sports Marketing experience.
·        Tertiary qualifications
·        Exceptional communication skills
·        Strong planning and project management skills In-depth knowledge of
·        the sports management and industry.
·        Ability to motivate in a team environment
